No keys at all? That's fine.
Losing your only car key feels like a disaster, and plenty of people assume the car has to be towed to a main dealer and left there for days. It doesn't. We can make a brand new key from scratch at the car, with no original to copy from. This is usually called an all keys lost job, and it's a big part of what we do.
How we make a key from nothing
First we get into the car without damage, if it's locked. Then we work out the cut of the key from the car's own locks and cut a new blade to match. Finally we plug into the diagnostic port and program the chip and remote to the car's immobiliser, so it starts and the buttons work.
Before we leave, we test it with you: doors, boot, ignition and remote. You drive away with a working key.
Make the car safe while you're at it
If your keys were stolen, or lost somewhere they could be found alongside the car, we can remove the old keys from the car's memory while we program the new one. After that, the missing keys won't start the engine even if someone finds them. It's also a good moment to have a spare made, so you're never back in this position. See spare car keys.
